'Deutsche Arbeitsfront' (DAF) Enamel Sign (Emailleschild) "Deutscher Arbeiter, der Stirn und der Faust, wir grüßen dich!" (German workers, those working with the head or the fist, we greet you!). The DAF (German Labor-front), originally founded in 1933, became an official NSDAP organization in October 1934. DAF’s most important goal was to enforce the political stability of the large mass of work force. This white rectangular wall plaque was to be hung inside a factory or company on the workfloor. The enamel is showing normal traces of usage and some small damages on the edges/corners of the sign, see photos. The sign is not visible maker marked. The large sized sign is measuring approximately 99 x 61 cms and has a weight of approximately 9kgs. Rare and hard to find original enamel sign in very good condition!
