This is a nice original Luftwaffe Combined Pilot-Observer Badge (Gemeinsames Flugzeugführer- u. Beobachterabzeichen). The Combined Pilot-Observer's badge was officially instituted by 'Hermann Göring' on 19 January 1935. The badge was to be awarded to personnel who qualified as both pilot and observer. This badge is a nice late war example made of zinc. The badge is not visible maker marked but can very likely be attributed to the company of 'Friedrich Linden' from Lüdenscheid. The badge still retains almost all of it's original silver and gold finish and shows very nice & pronounced detail overall. The badge has naturally a functional pin & catch construction. Hard to find in this condition, stunning original badge!
