WW1 2-Piece Bavarian Medal Bar

Description

This is a nice World War 1 2-Piece Bavarian Medal Bar (Ordenspange), consisting of a Bavarian Military Merit Order 4th Class (Bayern Militär-Verdienst-Orden 4. Klasse mit Schwertern) and a WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse). The military merit order is nicely marked on the swords with 'G.H. 900' indicating production by the 'Gebrüder Hemmerle' and a silver content of 900. The center medaillon is most likely made with gold. The enamel is showing minimal traces of usage. Both medals are in very good condition. The medals are nicely mounted on a medal-bar for wear on the 'walking-out' tunic. The medal-bar comes on its functional pin/catch set-up and is having a lightblue backing. Nice original Bavarian medal-bar in very good condition!
