WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class

Description

World War 1 Iron Cross 2nd class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse). Re-instituted by King Wilhelm II on 5 August 1914 for award during WWI. The second class medal was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction with a magnetic core. The cross is maker marked, the marking however is hard to read. The cross is complete with its original 19cms long sized original ribbon. Nice original WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class in good condition!
