Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse), complete with its original ribbon and pouch of issue. On 1 September 1939 Hitler reinstituted the Iron Cross (First time in 1813). The 2nd class cross was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction with an iron core, the cross shows clear traces of usage and paint-loss. The cross comes with its original smaller type ribbon as found. The cross is maker marked with number '55' indicating production by the company of 'J.E. Hammer & Söhne' from Geringswalde. The cross is clearly used condition and therefore priced accordingly!
