Book: 'Ich Kämpfe' with Gauleiter Paul Giesler's Signature
Book: 'Ich Kämpfe, Die Pflichten des Parteigenossen' (The duties of the party member). The book contains a lot of interesting information about the NSDAP movement with many interesting (colour)photographs. In front of the book is a dedication written to a new young NSDAP Party Member, written by NSDAP Gauleiter 'Paul Giesler' and dated 18 April 1943. The dedication would translate like:
Dear young party member!
This book, which will be presented to you on the day you join the party, is intended to remind you that every rational socialist is expected to be a special member of the German community and to serve it faithfully in its life, with all its privileges.
In this struggle for your people, you will realize how right the Führer was when he said that the greatest happiness in life is to fight for a cause you believe in. Encourage yourself to share in this happiness as well.
Heil Hitler!
