Nice pair of Dutch black leather lace-up ankle boots. Dutch soldiers were often asked to bring their own black leather lace-up ankle boots. This is due to material shortages in the Dutch army. This is a pair of period Dutch boots. The boots are having 5 eyelets and 4 hooks to close the laces, the laces are missing. The boots are showing the expected period use and wear. The boots are size 43 marked, the boots are not visible dated. The soles are showing small holes due to a pair of ice-skates having been attached to the shoes after the war. This pair would display great on a Dutch combat uniform. Hard to find pair of original period Dutch low boots!
