Late War Wehrmacht M42 Mess Kit - Kochgeschirr 42 (Eis.). The 'Kochgeschirr 31' was introduced on 23 March 1931, the M42 Mess kit was a simplified version, completely made of steel, introduced in 1942. This is a nice original late war steel construction mess kit. The mess kit retains most of its original olive-green paint on the outside and red paint on the inside, there are some minor rust spots and traces of usage. The mess kit is not maker marked and dated 1943. The mess kit is in uncleaned condition as found. Nice original late war example in good used condition!
