Wehrmacht 'Großdeutschland' Deathnotice (Sterbebild). A common practice in Europe that continues to this day, is the issue of a remembrance card on the death of a family member. This is a deathnotice for 'Hermann Wellner' who was an 'Unteroffizier' within the 'Großdeutschland' Division. He was killed in action on 30 September 1942 and buried in Tscherkassawo (near Rschew).
