KM Coastal Artillery Field Blouse
Kriegsmarine 'Küstenartillerie' (Coastal Artillery) Field Blouse (Feldbluse). Beginning in 1935 Kriegsmarine land based personnel, primarily Coastal Artillery units, were issued field-grey uniforms that followed the fundamental designs of the army uniforms with minor variations. The tunic has two, non-pleated, breast pockets and two horizontal slash hip pockets. The field blouse is having a pair of BeVo-woven EM's Coastal Artillery collar tabs neatly machine-sewn to the collar. The tunic is complete with a nicely hand-applied BeVo-woven breast-eagle. The field blouse is complete with shoulder-board loops and buttons and is complete with a pair of EM's type Coastal Artillery shoulder-straps, the shoulder-straps are showing a nicely machine-embroidered winged artillery shell on an anchor. The tunic is lined in grey coloured cotton. The field blouse is nicely size marked and maker marked with 'RB.-Nr.1/0450/0318', it is also marked with 'B.A.W.' (Bekleidungs Amt Wilhelmshaven) and dated 15 March 1943. On the wearer's left sleeve an original carton manufacturer's label is still attached, marked by the 'LIGO - Lieferungsgenossenschaft für das Bekleidungshandwerk Niedersachsen' from Hannover. The tunic is showing some minor damage and traces of years of storage, there is some staining, see photos. Hard to find original Coastal Artillery Field Blouse in very good unissued condition!
