Croatian made Luftwaffe equipment
Croatian made Luftwaffe equipment consisting of a pair of Luftwaffe Flight Pants and two Flight Helmets. The air force of the Independent State of Croatia, which was a puppet state of Germany and Italy, was formed following the German invasion of Yugoslavia in 1941. The Croatian air force, originally a volunteer unit of the Luftwaffe, was sent to Germany for training in 1941 before being sent to the Eastern Front (1941-1943). They formed a fighter and bomber squadron that consisted of 650 aircraft. Due to the fact, they were part of the German Luftwaffe, their uniforms were nearly identical. The flight pants are having "Ritsch" zippers and "Prym" marked snaps, the pants are dated 1942. The pants are in used condition. One flight helmet is a Croatian type flight helmet and the other is a German type K/33 Flight helmet (Fliegerkopfhaube ohne FT-Gerät). Both flight helmets are in unissued condition and are showing ink-markings indicating that they have been re-issued after the war in the Czech army. All items are made by the company of 'Knebl & Ditrich' from Indija in Croatia. Rare original Croatian made flight gear in very good condition!
