WH (Heer) Infantry Officer's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a nice privately purchased Officer's example, complete with celluloid manufacturer's sweat-diamond ('Raute'), maker marked by the company 'Nice original Infantry Officer's Visor Cap from in very good condition!'. The cap is approximately a size '57'. The Visor cap is piped in the white 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for Infantry personnel. The leather sweatband is in good used condition and nicely marked as well. The cap is complete with its original matching aluminum Heeres cap eagle and cocarde. The cap is having a correct officer's type chinstrap. The cap is showing some minor traces of usage and/or storage. The cap is having a great shape. Nice original Infantry Officer's Visor Cap from in very good condition!
