WH (Heer) M35 SD Reissued Combat Helmet

Description

Wehrmacht (Heer) M35 Reissued Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M40). The stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet retains most of its rough textured, field-grey reissue overpaint. The paint shows normal wear and scratches caused by usage, see photos. A standard Pocher type Heeres decal is applied to the left side of the helmet, the decal is retained for about 90%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is an M31 leather liner with steel liner-ring, all eight fingers are present, the liner is size 57 marked. The liner is complete with its original liner cord. The shell is maker marked, the marking however is hard to read due to rust. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped lot-number '8383'. The helmet is complete with its original chinstrap, the chinstrap is maker marked and dated 1938. Nice original untouched M35 combat helmet in good used condition!
