Nice original 'Deutsches Feld-Ehrenzeichen'. The 'Deutsches Feld-Ehrenzeichen' was produced during the Weimar period and was a semi-official award. This award could be bought by veterans of the Frist World War. Its awarding and wear was banned in November 1935. The badge is in very good condition with nice gilding and undamaged white enamel. It has a 2 rivet construction, the center medallion depicts a fully equiped WWI 'Landser'. The medal is nicely marked on the back with 'Deutsches Feld-Ehrenzeichen, ges. gesch., Hamburg 11'. Nice original example in very good condition!
