Wehrmacht (Heer) M35 Reissued Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). The stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet retains most of its rough textured, field-grey overpaint. The paint shows normal wear and scratches caused by usage, see photos. A standard Heeres decal is applied to the left side of the helmet, the decal is retained for about 75%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a reinforced aluminum liner-ring in size 55, the leather is regrettably missing, see photos. This is a wartime reissued helmet which was overpainted in fieldgrey on the outside having one decal applied. The shell is marked with maker and size 'NS62' which indicates production by the 'Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke AG' in Schwerte. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number which looks to read 'DN297'. The helmet comes with its original incomplete chinstrap as found. Despite the missing leather, still a nice and honest original reissued M35 combat helmet in good untouched original condition!
