Nice RAD ('Reichsarbeitsdienst') enamelled Cap-badge or so called 'Traditions-Mützenabzeichen' as intended for members within the 'Arbeitsgau XXI' (Niederrhein). These badges were worn on the Robbin-Hood style headgear (also known as 'Kaffeebohne'). The cap badge shows no enamel damage, it shows only some normal scratches and traces of usage. The details on this piece are simply stunning. The cap-badge is regrettably missing one prong. It is nicely maker marked by the company of 'F. Hoffstätter' in Bonn. Nice and scarce original RAD cap-badge in good used condition!
