Beaded M42 Luftschutz type Helmet (Stahlhelm M42). Stamped sheet steel construction M42 helmet featuring a pronounced bead along the midline of the shell, the helmet retains almost all of his blue-grey paint, the paint is showing scratches and normal traces of usage. A Luftschutz decal has been placed on front of the helmet. All three liner retaining rivets are intact., the helmet is complete with its original leather luftschutz/civil type liner, complete with original liner cord, the liner is size '57' marked. The helmet is complete with rare late war plastic type chinstrap. The shell is marked with maker and size 'hkp64'. 'Q' is indicating production by the 'Sächsische Emaillier und Stanzwerke A.G.' from Lauter. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped lot-number '3801'. The helmet is in untouched and uncleaned condition as found showing some dust/dirt and minimal surface rust, see photos. Nice original helmet in good used condition!
