Wehrmacht (Heer) M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet Shell (Stahlhelmglocke M40). The shell is marked with maker and size 'Q64' which indicates production by the company of 'F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.' from Esslingen. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number 'DN116'. The helmet has been cleaned once but still retains a fair amount of its original fieldgrey paint and remains of a Heer decal. The helmet comes with a set of rivets, the rivets probably have been repainted once. See photos. Overall a nice helmet shell for a fair price!
