Luftwaffe 'Fallschirmsattler' Wooden Box
Luftwaffe 'Fallschirmsattler' Wooden Box, this would be a box for a Parachute Saddler. The box is painted in the standard late war ordnance tan paint, on top is stenciled in black 'Fallschirmsattler' and 'FL68720'. The box is also marked '18kg' indicating the total weight of the box when filled with its original contents. The box is not visible maker marked or dated. The wooden box is approximately sized 62 x 45 x 16 cms. The lock/closing mechanism is missing. I've never seen another box like this. Extremely rare original Fallschirmjäger wooden box in good used condition!

Luftwaffe 'Fallschirmsattler' houten kist, dit is een kist voor een parachute-reparateur. De kist is geverfd in de standaard laat oorlogse zand-kleur, op de deksel staat in zwart gestenciled 'Fallschirmsattler' en 'FL68720'. De kist is gemarkeerd met '18kg' wat duidt op het totaalgewicht van de kist wanneer deze gevuld was met zijn oorspronkelijke inhoud. De kist is niet zichtbaar maker gemarkeerd of gedateerd. De kist is ongeveer 62 x 45 x 16 cm groot. Het slotje van de kist ontbreekt helaas. Ik heb nooit eerder een kist zoals deze gezien. Erg zeldzame originele Fallschirmjäger houten kist in goede gebruikte staat!
