Description
World War 1 Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse). Re-instituted by King Wilhelm II on 5 August 1914 for award during WWI. The second class medal was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction and has a magnetic core. The cross is maker marked with 'S' indicating production by the company of 'Heinrich Schneider', a rarer manufacturer. The cross comes with its original 21cms long sized ribbon. Nice original WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class in very good condition!
