Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge - FLL

Description

Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge (Fallschirmschützenabzeichen). The Paratrooper’s qualification badge was instituted by 'Hermann Göring' on 5 November 1936 for award to Luftwaffe 'Fallschirmjäger' personnel who had written the required tests and completed six parachute jumps. This badge is a nice 'Zink' example. The badge still retains almost all of its original finish and is showing very nice & pronounced detail overall. The badge has naturally a functional pin & catch construction. The badge is not visible maker marked but can be attributed to the company of 'Friedrich Linden' from Lüdenscheid. These FLL paratrooper badges are hard to find in this condition. Nice original Paratrooper's Badge!
