Waffen-SS BeVo-woven 'Nederland' cufftitle (Ärmelband). Originally personnel serving with SS-Freiwilligen-Legion-Niederlande were allowed to wear a Dutch manufactured cufftitle 'Legion Niederlande' until November 1941 when the Germans introduced another cufftitle 'Frw. Legion Niederlande'. Shortly after the second pattern cufftitle was introduced the German spelling of 'Niederlande' was altered to the Dutch spelling 'Nederland' and a third cufftitle was introduced 'Frw. Legion Nederland'. With the upgrade to brigade status in October 1943 a fourth and final pattern cufftitle was introduced (in BeVo weave) 'Nederland'. This is the last pattern cufftitle as intended for members of the 'SS-Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Brigade Nederland', woven in grey/white thread on black in the so-called 'BeVo' weave, the back of the cufftitle shows the salt-and-pepper design. The cufftitle shows the woven script 'Nederland'. The cufftitle is in full length condition with typical unfinished ends and measures approximately 41cms in length. The cufftitle is in good unissued condition showing some staining and traces of years of storage.
