Organisation Todt 'Flandern' Volunteer Sleeve Shield

Flemish Organisation Todt 'Flandern' Volunteer Sleeve Shield. The Organization Todt (OT) was originally established in July 1933 under the command of 'Dr. Fritz Todt'. Flemish manufactured machine embroidered sleeve shield for Flemish volunteers serving in the 'Organization Todt'. The sleeve shield was worn on the upper right sleeve of the uniform. The black woolen shield shaped base features a machine embroidered black lion of Flanders on a yellow shield shaped base, on to the script "Flandern". The shield is in good unissued condition but shows some glue remains on the back, it has most likely been pasted in a scrapbook. Rare original sleeve shield!
