Wehrmacht (Heer) hand-embroidered 'Steuermann' Trade Badge (Tätigkeitsabzeichen). Qualification badge as worn by pilots of smaller waterway assault boats (Steuermann), typically combat engineers. The patch is showing a neatly hand-embroidered helm-wheel on an anchor in bright silver wire-threads on a dark-green wool base. The badge is having a nice grey backing cloth. Nice original patch in good unissued condition!
