WH (Heer) Gabardine Greatcoat 1944
Wehrmacht (Heer) M44 Greatcoat (Tuchmantel). The Greatcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier. The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations. The late war pattern greatcoat is made of Italian gabardine wool, it has two rows of six front closure buttons and the greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline. The greatcoat is complete with all original buttons. The greatcoat is complete with shoulder-board loops and buttons. The greatcoat is RB.Nr.0/0157/0032 marked indicating production by a manufacturer from the district 'Löbau', the greatcoat is size marked (chest-size 108cms) and dated 1944 (E.44). The greatcoat is having inner pockets made of 'Splittertarn' camouflage material being an interesting detail, see photos. The greatcoat is in very good unissued condition showing some minor traces of years of storage, see photos. Very rare and hard to find late war gabardine greatcoat in very good condition!
