Wehrmacht Observation Binoculars 12x60 (Beobachtungsfernrohr 12x60), marked with 'FMG 41 T' (Funkmeßgerät 41T) indicating that these binoculars were for use with a radar unit. Binoculars are in good condition, complete with undamaged 'Bakelite' eyecup protector. The binoculars are maker marked with the three-digit code 'blc' indicating production by the famous 'Carl Zeiss' company from Jena. The binoculars were originally painted in the standard blue-grey colour, but they are showing a nice later war ordnance tan overpaint, showing great patina. The optics are still very clear, see photo. The 'FMG 41 T' is a harder to find variant. Nice and honest piece of equipment!
