RAD greatcoat
RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) Greatcoat (Tuchmantel) as intended for an 'Arbeitsmann'. The Greatcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier. The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations. Field-grey coloured woolen construction with a brown coloured collar, it has two rows of six front closure buttons and the greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline. The Greatcoat is nicely marked with some size stamps and the greatcoat is dated 1937, there are some unit stamps from the 'A.D.Gau XXVII' (Baden). The greatcoat is complete with original shoulder-board of the sew-in type and a pair of original applied collar-tabs. The greatcoat is in only minimally worn condition with some normal traces of usage, nothing shocking, see photos. Nice and hard to find original RAD greatcoat in good condition!
