Waffen-SS black Panzer wrap (Panzerjacke). The Panzer wrap is in mint and unissued condition, typical for the examples found at the war's end at the 'SS-Bekleidungswerke' in Dachau. The wrap is constructed of later quality black wool and having lining components of differently textured black rayon, the wrap is having one internal pocket, a pair of inner belt hook support straps and waist tie tunnels, also of black rayon, the waist ties are of black colored tape having an HBT weave, internal buttoning tabs are made of black wool. The wrap is stamped in white ink with maker code '627' and various size markings having a chest size of 92cms. There are varios ink-markings on the different wool panels. The collar has a black painted steel hook and eye, the collar underside has lines of reinforcement stitching in a large zig zag shape, collar insignia have never been applied. Shoulder strap loops are present, shoulder-strap buttons have never been applied. A nice so-called 'Hammerhead' type SS sleeve eagle is factory zig zag machine applied to the wearer's left sleeve. There is one tiny moth-nip to the back of the tunic. Example in stunning mint and unissued condition. Rare original Waffen-SS black Panzer Wrap!
