This is an Air Defence Honor Badge Award Document (Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2.Stufe Urkunde). The Air Defence Decorations were instituted by Adolf Hitler on 30 January 1938, in two classes for award to German national personnel serving in the RLB (Reichs Luftschutz Bund), the SHD (Sicherheits und Hilfs Dienst), the Werkschutz, and the Ordnungspolizei, who had participated in the civil air defence of German from January 1933. This award document was awarded to locksmith (dem Schlosser) 'Ernst Herzke' from Oberhausen on 15 July 1944. The DIN-A4 sized award document is in excellent condition. The document has a beautiful small-sized embossed logo and shows the facsimile signature of 'Otto Meissner'. Nice large-sized award document in excellent condition!
