This is a nice original 'Hindenburg Cross for participants 1914-18' (Ehrenkreuz für Kriegsteilnehmer) Award Document (Urkunde). This cross was instituted in three forms on 13 july 1934 as a service medal for soldiers who participated in world war one. It was also the first decoration created by the Third Reich. This award document was awarded to 'Emil Rist' on 2 March 1935 in Bochum. The award document measures approximately 20,5 x 14 cms in size and has been folded once, see scans. Nice example in good condition!
