Mothers Cross in Gold Award-Document (erste Stufe des Ehrenkreuzes der Deutschen Mutter Urkunde). The Mother’s Cross was introduced by Adolf Hitler on 16 December 1938 as part of a large propaganda campaign aimed at increasing the birth rate. With the Gold cross for bearing four or five children, the Silver cross for bearing six or seven children and the Gold cross for bearing eight or more. This award document was awarded to 'Wilhelmine Klein' (b. Seel) from Michelbach, on 1 October 1939. The DIN-A4 sized award document is in used condition, it has been rolled up and has wrinkles, see scans. Nice original award document!
