Description
This is a nice set of 2 Kriegsmarine Award Documents (Urkunden), each at DIN A5 size, from Matrosen 'Friedrich Döring' who was a member within the '12. Vorpostenflottille'. On 7 October 1942, Friedrich was awarded with the Minesweeper War Badge (Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungsverbände). This document was personally signed by 'Kapitän zur See' Arnold Bentlage. Friedrich had been wounded on 11 September 1942 and was awarded the Wound Badge in Black on 26 October 1942, this document was personally signed by 'Korvettenkapitän ' Karl von Hoff who was a recipient of the German Cross in Gold. Both documents are in good used condition and have been folded once, see scans. Nice set of Kriegsmarine Award Documents!
