SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt "Deutschland" Award-Document Grouping to ᛋᛋ-Sturmmann 'Herbert Haardt', he was a member within the 'SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment 3 „Deutschland“' (SS-Panzer-Division Das Reich). Herbert was awarded with the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords (Kriegsverdienst Kreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwerter) on 20 April 1944, this document personally signed by SS-Brigadeführer 'Heinz Lammerding' who was primarily responsible for the Oradour-sur-Glane massacre and the Tulle massacre in June 1944. On 15 March 1944 he was awarded with the Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze (Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze), he was awarded with the badge for taking part in 3 attacks near 'Wel-Burluk' (Charkov area) in February 1943, this document personally signed by SS-Sturmbannführer and Regimental Commander 'Günther Eberhardt Wisliceny'. Wisliceny was a bearer of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oakleaves. On 18 April 1944 Herbert was awarded with the Drivers Proficiency Badge in Silver (Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen in Silber), this document is personally signed by SS-Obersturmbannführer 'Wisliceny' as well.
