German Imperial Pilots Badge

Description

This is a stunning original Imperial Pilots Badge (Militär-Flugzeugführerabzeichen). The Imperial Pilots Badge was originally introduced on 27 january 1913 by 'Kaiser Wilhelm'. All pilots, regardless of rank, were eligible. The badge is a nice example made of silver, it's '800' silver marked. The badge is nicely maker marked by the company of 'C.E. Juncker' from Berlin. The badge shows very nice & pronounced detail overall. The badge has naturally a functional pin & catch construction. Engraved on the back is the name 'Lt.Feske' (Leutnant) and date 3 September 1917. Desirable original imperial pilot's badge in very good condition!
