Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Bronze
'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Bronze' (Infantry Assault Badge). The Infantry Assault Badge in bronze was introduced on 1 June 1940 by Generaloberst 'Walther von Brauchitsch', for award to all ranks of Motorized Infantry units with the same criteria for award as the silver badge; participation in in three different assaults on three different days. The badge is executed in 'Feinzink' and still retains almost all of its original bronze finish. The pin and catch are complete and functional. The badge is a non-maker marked but can be attributed to the company of 'Rudolf A. Karneth & Söhne', based inGablonz an der Neiße. This is the pebbled leaf variant. Example with stunning details and great finish, hard to find example in very good condition!
