Kriegsmarine 'Kleinkampfverbände' qualification badge (Bewährungs- und Kampfabzeichen der Kleinkampfmittel). The badge was instituted on 30 November 1944 by Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine 'Karl Dönitz' to recognise the actions of personnel serving within the Kriegsmarine 'Kleinkampfverbänden' who risked there lives in very small boats and one man u-boats. The badge is showing a nicely machine-embroidered sawfish in golden-yellow thread on a dark navy-blue woolen background. There is some glue-residue on the back, the badge has most likely been pasted in an album once. Rare original badge in good used condition!
