This is a nice example of the 'Kriegsverdienst Kreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter' (War Merit Cross 2nd class without swords). The War Merit Cross was instituted by Adolf Hitler on 18 October 1939. The cross is a nice 'Buntmetall' example and comes with its original short piece of ribbon, stored in it's original 'LDO' type box as found together. The cross is not visible maker marked. The 'LDO' marked box is showing some normal small damages and usage on the corners and is in overall very good condition.  Nice original set in good condition!
