2-piece Ribbon Bar (Bandspange) for the 13 March 1938 (Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 13 März 1938) and the 1 October 1938 Medal (Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1 Oktober 1938). The Commemorative Medal of 1st October 1938 was the second of the "Anschluss" (Annexation), medal series and was introduced on October 18th 1938, for award to civilians and military personnel who participated in the "return" of the Sudetenland to Germany. The award followed the same design as the earlier, "13th März" medal, that commemorated the annexation of Austria into Greater Germany. The ribbon bar is having a miniature 'Prager Burg' clasp attached, only 134.563 examples of the clasps have been awarded. The ribbon bar is of the larger 5 cms wide version and is in good used, naturally fully functional, condition.
