BDM Proficiency Clasp in Bronze

Description

This is a nice original BDM (Bund Deutscher Mädel) Proficiency Clasp in Bronze (Leistungsabzeichen in Bronze). The BDM was the girl's section of the Nazi youth movement 'Hitler-Jugend'. It was the only female youth organization in Nazi Germany, the 'Jungmädel' for little girls in the age of 10-14 was part of the BDM. The badge is neatly maker marked on the back with 'RZM M1/15' indicating production by the company of 'Ferdinand Hofstätter' from Bonn. This pin/catch attachement construction is complete and functional. Nice example in very good condition!
