Cased Forty Years Faithful Service Medal (Treudienst Ehrenzeichen 1. Stufe, 40 Jahre). On 30 January 1938, Hitler instituted the Faithful Service Decoration, in three classes. This was in recognition of long serving civil servants, and public works personnel. The medal is complete with its original confectioned blue ribbon. The medal is in good condition, showing stunning details. The medal comes in its original red case of issue, maker marked by 'Deschler & Sohn' from München. The box is showing some normal useage at the corners what is seen often on these boxes and some minor damage at the bottom. Nice set in good condition!
