Cased Forty Years Faithful Service Medal (Treudienst Ehrenzeichen 1. Stufe, 40 Jahre). On 30 January 1938, Hitler instituted the Faithful Service Decoration, in three classes. This was in recognition of long serving civil servants, and public works personnel. The medal is complete with its original slightly faded confectioned blue ribbon, the medal is in good condition, showing stunning details. The medal comes in its original red case of issue. The box is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Deschler & Sohn' from München. The box is showing some normal useage at the corners what is seen often on these boxes. The inside divider has been glued. Nice set in good used condition!
