Kriegsmarine Minesweeper War Badge

Kriegsmarine Minesweeper War Badge (Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungsverbände). The Minesweeper’s war badge was instituted on 31 August 1940 by Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine und Großadmiral 'Erich Raeder'. The badge is an early 'Buntmetall' version, the badge is showing great details, it is complete with a functional pin and catch, the pin is a bit out of shape. It has never been cleaned nor polished. The badge is not visible maker marked but it can be attributed to the company of 'Adolf Scholze' from Gablonz an der Neiße. The badge is nicely vaulted (gewölbt) giving it a great look. Nice original badge in good used condition!
