LW 'Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger' in Bronze - Juncker
Luftwaffe Heavy, Medium & Dive Bombers Squadron Clasp in Bronze (Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger). The 'Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger und Sturzkampfflieger' was introduced by 'Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring' on 30 January 1941. The clasps were awarded in three grades of, Bronze for twenty operational flights, Silver for sixty operational flights, and Gold for one hundred ten operational flights. This is a nice early tombak (Buntmetall) example of the bronze grade clasp. The clasp is nicely maker marked by the company of 'C.E. Juncker' from Berlin, maker marked bomber clasps are rarely seen. The clasp has naturally a functional pin & catch construction. The clasp still retains most of its original bronze finish and is showing a nice age pantina. Rare original early maker marked Juncker clasp!
