Social Welfare Medal with Swords (Medaille für Deutsche Volkspflege). On 1 May 1939, Hitler introduced a series of four Social Welfare awards to replace the earlier DRK (Deutsche Rotes Kreuz) awards. This is the fourth class. The medal is a tombak (Buntmetall) example, the details on the piece really pronounced and stunning. The medal comes with its original 15cms long sized ribbon as found together. Nice original medal in good used condition!
