Miniature Forty Years Faithful Service Medal (Treudienst Ehrenzeichen 1. Stufe, 40 Jahre). On 30 January 1938, Hitler instituted the Faithful Service Decoration, in three classes. This was in recognition of long serving civil servants, and public works personnel. Nice 16mm sized miniature example of the gold washed Forty Years Faithful Service Medal. The miniature is complete with its original confectioned blue coloured ribbon on buttonhole attachement. Nice original miniature medal!
