Obverse showing the olympic bell and script 'Olympische Spiele Berlin MCMXXXVI', the reverse showing the script 'zur Ehre des Vaterlandes, zum Ruhme des Sports' (to the honor of the country, to the glory of sport'. The silver medal is having a diameter of 37mm and is nicely marked on the edge by the 'Bayer.Hauptmünzamt' and marked 'Feinsilber'. Nice and decorative original medal!
