Westwall Medal (Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen) that comes in its original 'LDO' type carton box of issue. The Westwall medal was instituted by Adolf Hitler on 2 August 1939 for military personnel, and civilian employees, who assisted in the planning and construction or defence of the German fortifications on the western border of Germany. The tombak medal is complete with its original 16cms long sized ribbon. The medal comes in its original black coloured 'LDO' type box as found together. Nice original set in very good condition!
