This is a nice 2-piece tailor-made Medal Bar (Ordenspange), showing respectively a Lifesaving Medal 'Für Rettung aus Gefahr' (Rettungsmedaille 1933) and a Westwall Medal (Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen). The silver lifesaving medal is nicely marked with a crescent and '☽835 PR.M.BLN.' indicating production by the 'Preußische Münze' from Berlin. The medals are nicely period mounted on a medal-bar for wear on the 'walking-out' tunic. The medal bar is mounted on a metal-plate with a woolen backing and comes with its functional pin/catch set-up. Rare original lifesaving medal bar!
