Iron Cross second class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse), complete with its original ribbon. On 1 September 1939 Hitler reinstituted the Iron Cross (First time in 1813). The second class medal was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction, the cross just shows some minor wear and great detail overall, the cross is complete with its original 14cms long sized ribbon. The cross is nicely maker marked with number '25' indicating production by the 'Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Graveur-, Gold- und Silberschmiede-Innung' from Hanau am Main. Nice original cross in very good condition!
