EU-Deactivated Russian DPM - dated 1945

Description

EU-Deactivated Soviet Russian Degtyaryov DPM Machine Gun (Пулемёт Дегтярёвa Пехотный). The DP28 was a light machine gun firing the 7.62×54mmR cartridge that was primarily used by the Soviet Union, it was the standard Soviet infantry light machine gun (LMG) during World War II. The DPM was a modernized version adopted in 1943–44, with a more robust bipod fastened to the cooling jacket and the recoil spring housed in a tube projecting from the rear of the receiver which necessitated a pistol grip for this model of the weapon. The DPM was only in service from 1943 to 1945. 1946 saw further improvements including a belt feed, this version was adopted by Soviet Army as a RP-46 (Rotnyj Pulemet, 1946). In comparison to the DP27 and 28, very few DPM's were made as its production only lasted for around 2 years. This example is made in 1945 and is fitted with a disc shaped pan magazine. The DPM has been deactivated conform the requirements of the common minimum technical specifications set out in Annex I from the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/337 and comes with a Certificate of Deactivation. This DPM is free to own for EU citizens, aged over 18 years. We will sell this DPM only to people above the age of 18 (with proof) within the EU (please check your country's regulations before purchasing). Nice original 1945 dated DPM in very good condition!

PLEASE NOTEthis DPM is a double from my private collection, I prefer personal pick-up at a show. Shipping at buyer's own risk. Payments only by banktransfer.
